Dining Kitchen through to Utility Room

 

This beautiful 4 Star (awarded April 2006) self-catering house (Visit Scotland member since 2004) has a large fitted Kitchen / Dining Room (table seats 6 with extra chairs available) with Patio Doors to Private Garden. The Kitchen is extremely well equipped and contains a very high standard of modern appliances, including: Large Range Cooker (Gas Hob with 6 rings/ Delonghi Electric Professional Oven) with extractor fan, Microwave, Dish Washer, Larder Fridge, Kettle, Toasted Sandwich Maker and many cupboards and storage space. A wide range of Crockery is to be found in the cupboards and provides many utensils for up to 6 people, some supplies of coffee, tea, sugar, pint of milk and other household supplies are provided for all guests for your arrival.

For families, a Travel Cot and High Chair can also be provided (please ask when making your booking) and the garden is surrounded by enclosed fencing so that children can play safely with the driveway gates closed if required. There is also plenty Car Parking with room for at least 4 or 5 cars. Ideal for Hill walkers (Sleeps up to 6 people only)

From the Kitchen, a door leads to the Utility Room, which contains Chest Freezer, Washing Machine, Boiler (Oil fired) and Tumble Dryer as well as portable drying facilities. A door exits from here into the garden and drying facilities outside.

Kilbrannan has 3 good sized bedrooms, all of which have fitted wardrobes, bedside chests and bedside lights. The main south-facing double bedroom, with views towards Loch Broom and surrounding mountains, has an ensuite shower-room, toilet and wc.

There is also a separate family bathroom in the house containing bath, hand held shower attachment, wc and wash hand basin. The 2 twin bedrooms are situated to the rear and to side of the house. All bed linen and towels are provided as well as Heating and Electricity (please notify owner of number and names of guests before arrival).

Lounge

Kilbrannan has a large south-facing lounge, with beautiful views towards Loch Broom and the surrounding hills (An Teallach & The Fannaich hills). The lounge provides many indoor recreations, such as TV (Satellite via Sky), Video, DVD (a variety are provided for the family and for children), a wide range of books for all ages and a collection of some board games and playing cards. Many people have commented on the superb views and lovely sunsets viewed from the house.

Kilbrannan has oil-fired central heating throughout the house, which provides for a cosy atmosphere for those colder times! Outside the house, there is a large enclosed garden, with plenty areas to sit out in on comfy garden chairs, as well as a drying area close to the house.

On arrival at Kilbrannan there is ample car parking within a gravelled drive, as well as ramped access to the front door with plenty of room for wheelchair access throughout the house. However, there are no disabled bathroom facilities within the house.
